The Classic and Vintage Car Museum in Udaipur contains displays that belong to the royal family of Mewar. It was launched for the public in the year 2000. It is located within the Mewar State Motor Garage. The impressive collection in this museum includes Cadillacs (1938 model), Morris Minor Hundred (1959 model), Buick (1946 model), amongst others.
2. Auto World Vintage Car Museum:
Ahmedabad, a culturally rich and vibrant city and the commercial hub of Gujarat, has an equally impressive car museum! The Auto World Vintage Car Museum was developed by Shri Pranlal Bhogilal Patel and is managed by the Vintage and Classic Car Club of India. Located on the outskirts of Ahmedabad, it includes cars owned by several royal families of India. The museum includes some of the biggest names in the car world, from the likes of Maybach, Packards, Cadillacs, Mercedes, and Lincolns to Rolls Royce, Chrysler, Buick, and Hotchkiss. The museum also offers a station where visitors can experience sitting and driving in vintage cars. Now that’s a dream come true!
3. Sudha Car Museum:
The Sudha car museum was started by Kanyaboyina Sudhakar, popularly known as K. Sudhakar, who started making cars as a hobby but later opened up the museum for the general public in 2010. While other car museums have vintage or luxury cars on display, this one stands out. Every car in this museum is unique because it is modeled after everyday objects. From a car shaped like a handbag to a car shaped like a helmet, to a car shaped like a pair of stilettos, every car here will surprise you! This one is a treat for all the senses.
